Important: ownership of the physical fence, responsibility for maintaining it, and the legal boundary line are three different questions. This helper gives you a starting point; it cannot make a legal determination.

A clause saying someone must maintain a fence can be important, but maintenance responsibility is not automatically the same thing as ownership.

HM Land Registry says an unreferenced T-mark has no special force or meaning in law. The wording in the deed matters.
